From Industrial HVAC Diagnostics to Specialized Mining Education
Future Layer Core was founded in 2019 in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do by mechanical engineer Park Sora. Having spent over a decade diagnosing industrial ventilation failures in factory cleanrooms and metal fabrication plants across South Korea, Sora observed early cryptocurrency mining operators encountering catastrophic hardware degradation.
Operators were housing hundreds of kilowatts of dense compute hardware inside uninsulated agricultural barns and standard commercial storage units, relying on consumer box fans and generic exhaust vents. The result was severe thermal throttling, shortened hashboard lifespans, and severe noise disputes with rural township neighbors.
Recognizing the critical shortage of practical, physical engineering training in the mining sector, Future Layer Core constructed a dedicated 480 m³ aerodynamic testing facility in Haseong-myeon, Gimpo. Since 2019, our workshops have trained over 600 site leads, mechanical contractors, and facility planners throughout the Asia-Pacific region and international mining corridors.

We derive all CFM, delta-T, and static pressure requirements directly from first thermodynamic principles rather than anecdotal internet rules-of-thumb.

Sustainable mining operations must coexist peacefully with surrounding communities. We prioritize acoustic louver design and sub-55 dBA boundary compliance.
Electrical Safety & Harmonic Protection
Continuous multi-megawatt non-linear loads require rigorous transformer K-factor derating and neutral conductor sizing to prevent electrical fires.

Mechanical engineering graduate from Hanyang University. Over 15 years in industrial aerodynamics and high-density heat exchange design across Gyeonggi and Gangwon industrial facilities.
Min-jae Cho
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. Specializes in 3-phase medium-voltage substation design, transformer harmonic mitigation, and PDU distribution for mega-scale compute centers.
