Laboratory Fluidics & Immersion Tank Practicum

Single-Phase Dielectric Immersion & Hybrid Thermal Conversion

Deep dive into synthetic hydrocarbon and fluorochemical dielectric fluid management, dry cooler sizing, brazed plate heat exchangers, and ASIC board preparation.

Single-Phase Dielectric Immersion & Hybrid Thermal Conversion
Tuition / Fee
$1,850 per participant
Format & Duration
3 Days (20 Contact Hours)
Facility / Location
Gimpo Immersion Testing Laboratory

Target Participant Profile

Operations managers transitioning from air-cooling to liquid submersion for extreme overclocking, silent running, or waste-heat capture.

Applied Engineering Competencies

  • Compare fluid properties: viscosity, dielectric breakdown voltage, thermal conductivity, and flash points
  • Calculate secondary water loop flow rates (GPM) and delta-T across brazed plate heat exchangers
  • Remove original fan shrouds, install fan spoofers, and apply thermal paste/gap fillers for immersion
  • Design closed-loop dry cooler circuits with ethylene glycol antifreeze mixtures for sub-zero Korean winters
  • Implement district heating and greenhouse thermal reuse manifolds using 55°C-65°C fluid discharge

Included Laboratory Materials

  • Immersion Plumbing Schematics & Pump Head Sizing Calculator
  • Dielectric Fluid Compatibility Matrix for cables, plastics, and gaskets
  • Direct hands-on immersion tank teardown and rebuild session

Prerequisites & Delivery

Prerequisites: Prior experience handling mining hardware and thermal interfaces.

Delivery Method: Intensive laboratory session operating live immersion tanks, coolant pumps, and outdoor dry coolers.

Register Interest or Request Cohort Schedule

Cohorts at the Gimpo testing lab are restricted to 8 engineers per session to ensure direct hands-on time with active test wind tunnels, thermal imaging equipment, and live electrical load banks.
