Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: January 15, 2026. Because our laboratory workshops in Gimpo-si are capped at 8 seats per cohort to ensure individualized instruction and live load bench access, the following policies govern cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling.

1. Registration Deposits & Tuition Structure

To secure a seat in an upcoming laboratory masterclass, a 30% advance registration deposit is required upon invoice issuance. The remaining 70% tuition balance is due no later than 14 calendar days prior to the first day of the workshop cohort.

2. Cancellation Timelines & Refund Eligibility

Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to info@future-layercore.click. Refund amounts are determined by the date written notification is received:

• 21 or More Days Prior to Cohort Start: 100% full refund of all tuition and deposits paid, minus any international wire transfer bank fees.
• 14 to 20 Days Prior to Cohort Start: 70% refund of total tuition paid, OR 100% credit transferred to any scheduled cohort within the next 12 months at no additional charge.
• 7 to 13 Days Prior to Cohort Start: 50% refund of total tuition paid, OR a one-time free seat transfer to a subsequent scheduled cohort.
• Less Than 7 Days Prior or No-Show: Tuition is non-refundable, as laboratory benches, test consumables, and instructor allocations have already been committed. In cases of documented medical emergency, seat credit may be granted at management discretion.

3. Participant Rescheduling Protocols

Registered participants may transfer their enrollment to a colleague within the same organization at any time prior to the cohort start date at zero fee, provided the replacement attendee satisfies basic electrical safety prerequisites. Individual rescheduling requests submitted at least 14 days in advance are accommodated without financial penalty.

4. On-Site Facility Audits & Custom Engagements

For custom on-site facility airflow diagnostics and private corporate cohorts:

• Pre-travel Cancellation (14+ days): Full refund of engineering audit fees, minus non-refundable airline and lodging bookings already finalized.
• Work Already Commenced: Once on-site diagnostic measurements or custom CAD single-line drafting have commenced, delivered engineering hours and completed diagnostic reports are non-refundable.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are strictly non-refundable once distributed or opened:

• Printed 320-page Ventilation Engineering Reference Binders once shipped or handed to participants.
• Individual proprietary AutoCAD layout DWG licenses and unlocked calculation spreadsheet templates once digitally delivered.
• Consumable PPE kits and personalized laboratory badge credentials.

6. Cancellation by Future Layer Core

In the improbable event that Future Layer Core must cancel a scheduled workshop due to severe weather, facility utility outage, or instructor illness, participants will be offered the choice of an immediate 100% full refund or guaranteed priority placement in the next scheduled cohort. Future Layer Core is not liable for secondary expenses such as non-refundable personal airline tickets or hotel bookings.

7. Refund Method & Processing Timeframes

Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days of written confirmation. Refunds are issued exclusively via the original payment method (corporate bank wire / SWIFT transfer).
