Applied Engineering Competencies

  • Design 3-phase 415V/240V power distribution systems with precise neutral load balancing
  • Size dry-type and oil-filled step-down transformers to avoid harmonic overheating
  • Calculate rack spacing, hot-aisle clearances, and forklift/maintenance access paths
  • Select between overhead open cable ladders and copper busduct systems based on capital expenditure
  • Draft complete single-line schematics ready for municipal permit review and utility interconnection

Prerequisites & Delivery

Prerequisites: Familiarity with electrical concepts (volts, amps, 3-phase power).

Delivery Method: Hybrid: 4 weekly interactive design reviews combined with personalized 1-on-1 blueprint critiques by our licensed electrical engineering instructors.
